Do you provide food?

I provide 2 snacks and lunch for children in all day care based on Canada's Food Guide. I will also provide a small after school snack for school aged children.

What is the maximum number of children you can take care of at once?

I can care for 6 children, plus my own 2 children.

What happens if a child is sick in care?

Children will be separated as best as possible. The ill child will be asked to wear a mask (if possible) and parents will be called to pick up. Siblings of ill children may be asked to remain at home until symptoms are gone. I have a full Illness Policy.

Can you give my child medication?

I can administer prescription medication in original bottle with pharmacy label with written permission. I cannot give fever reducing medication to children in care, nor are they permitted in the day home if they have had fever reducing medication prior to arrival.

What are your available hours?

I am open Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm.

How do you communicate about my child's day?

I use an app for digital sign in/sign out every day. Meals, potty/diapers, activities, etc will all be posted in the app for you to see. I also share pictures and videos via text message during the day.

What activities do you do?

I understand that every child is unique, which is why I offer developmentally appropriate activities that are tailored to the children's interests and needs. I provide children with a range of experiences, such as outdoor play, art, story time and music. I am passionate about providing a supportive and engaging environment that helps children thrive, both socially and cognitively.

Can I come see your day home space?

Interviews and tours of the day home are scheduled only when an appropriate space is available for your child(ren).
